Positioned as it is on the edge of the Clarendon Park area of the city the Leicester Quaker meeting house, with its quiet rooms and lovely garden at the rear, has become an ideal place for many groups who use it throughout the week.
The meeting house, at the top of the (A6) London Road hill and across the Victoria Park, is about one and a half miles south of the city centre and a mile from the railway station from which buses pass at 15 minute intervals daily, hourly after 6.00pm and on Sundays.
Leicester Local Quaker Meeting is part of Leicester Area Quaker Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in Britain.
